Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Glendale, AZ

GLENDALE, AZ – Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to find the driver who hit and killed a bicyclist over the weekend and fled the scene.

The hit-and-run happened shortly before 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Northern Avenue east of Reems Road. The vehicle involved in the incident has been described by Investigators as a blue 2017 or 2018 Ford Fusion. MCSO has released photos of blue Ford Fusions to give people a general idea of what the car involved looks like.

MCSO stated the Fusion will probably have damage to the grill, headlight assemblies, and front passenger side of vehicle. There may also be damage on the passenger side windshield.  Detectives have not released any information about the bicyclist who died.
