Valley Teenager Killed in Crash Near 7th Ave and Camelback Rd

PHOENIX, AZ — On December 11th, a 15-year-old girl, later identified as Alessa Osuna, died after a two-vehicle crash near 7th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Phoenix police responded to the call around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Investigators say a vehicle traveling southbound on 7th Avenue began to make a left turn when it collided with a vehicle headed northbound on 7th Avenue.

The occupants of the southbound vehicle suffered minor injures only, according to Phoenix police.

The man who was driving the northbound vehicle was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.  Alessa Osuna, who was a passenger in the northbound vehicle, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and later succumbed to those injuries.

No further details have been provided as the investigation is ongoing.
