Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Near 11th Street and Southern Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ — A man, later identified as Alberto Reyes, is dead after being involved in a crash in South Phoenix Tuesday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., Phoenix Police were called to the scene of an accident involving a motorcycle near 11th Street and Southern Avenue.  When officers arrived, they learned that 22-year-old Alberto Reyes was riding his motorcycle when he crashed with a car.

Phoenix Fire provided medical aide to Alberto, but he died at the scene.  The driver of the car remained at the scene and suffered minor injuries.  The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
