One Person Dead in Two Vehicle Accident in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ — A man lost his life  in a two vehicle accident involving a car and a motorcycle Saturday afternoon in Phoenix.

The crash took place around 4 p.m. near 44th Street and Thunderbird Road.  Reports show that a car struck a motorcyclist.  The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained.  The identity of the deceased has not been released.

The driver of the car stayed on scene to assist investigators.  The roads in the area were restricted for several hours to complete the investigation.

The investigation of the incident is ongoing.
